craziness. not sure how he'll do...he has no fighting background (at least Lesner was an amateur wrestler)

it all depends on his training, and how he takes to it.

It sounds like he's trained BJJ for a long time (part time), and recently joined up with the Gracies.

So maybe? But then again, I don't see him intimidating anyone in the Middleweight Div.

I don't mind it. Hopefully he's not 1 and done. UFC needs to create interest & excitement somehow.
2014 was a bad year with all the injuries, although last weeks pay per view was really good

He got his ass whipped!

It happens even to the best, Condit was put away in less time by Mia.

One of the big questions surrounded CM Punks standup ability. Unfortunately Gall took him to the ground right from the beginning and other than sub-defense, we did not really see what CM Punk was capable of. At the post-fight presser Gall claimed he wanted to stand with him to show off his own standup but CM Punk came in too hot and easily taken down.

I wouldn't mind seeing him again against a lower level standup guy to see what he has in him.

BJJ is easier to pick up then striking and reportedly CM Punk had been training BJJ for a while.

If that was the state of his BJJ then his standup is likely going to be even worse.
