NFL offseason: Ten (actually interesting!) subplots
#41
They sure did. Must be because of the Cousins fiasco...which by all accounts has a lot more to do with bad blood between Kyle Shanahan and Snyder than anything else. He won't allow a trade with SF because of it.

Whats the deal with Cousins? Is he asking to be traded? Surely the skins would prefer to hold onto him?

Who really knows, it seems to be a gong show.  Rumours are he wants to be traded, but only to the niners, which Snyder denied due to Shanahan.  Cousins says he hasn't asked for a trade.

Yet there is still no contract signed and he also hasn't been tagged.  Just nothing happening.  Bizarre.

I wanted the Bills to trade for him. Not happening though.

Didn't they already franchise him, and he signed the $24M franchise contract?

The Rams have a lot of overpayment contracts for fringy players. Trumaine Johnston will be the highest paid cornerback in the league next year.

Your Rams continue handing out nice contracts to marginal players, extending an offer sheet to Bills backup Centre, Ryan Groy.

Can't see the Bills matching as long they still have Eric Wood on the roster.  Another weird move by the Rams. But not as weird as what's going on in Cleveland and their QB situation!
That move may not be that bad:

They also signed another cornerback with Wade Phillips ties:

Maybe they are about to get rid of Trumaine Johnson and his contract?

Oh, I must have missed that!  So we have a repeat of last season then!

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman echoed the sentiments of his new tailback in a conference call later in the day, telling reporters, "Adrian is probably going to go down as one of the greatest Vikings."

Spielman also confirmed what the Murray signing signaled: "With us signing Murray, Adrian will move on elsewhere."

Raiders interested in possibly signing Marshawn Lynch

Still working out?

If the Raiders can get Lynch, and he's still good, that team may be unstoppable.

Brady got his Super Bowl jerseys back. The suspect is a Mexican reporter.
Now Tom has something to talk about with Trump when the team visits the White House.

Deshaun Watson leads 22 prospects attending 2017 NFL Draft

DeShone Kizer and John Ross will be attending.
Really?
The Rams think they might have a shot at Ross in the second round, and even Kizer admits he is a project player.

Marshawn Lynch agrees to terms with Raiders

Wow. I wonder what the trade compensation will be?

I am guessing it will be a late round pick

Wonder if beast mode still has it. Big pick up for the raiders if he does.

RB fall apart quickly, I don't see him having much of an impact

Injuries will see him play only a handful of games is my prediction
