San Jose @ Oil GDT

This game is not over yet...

A late strike here could cue a comeback...

Otherwise why not just dress 1 goalie if the other guy sucks & you have no intention of playing him.

I would totally expect this type of roster mgmt. from Lowe & Mac T.  Not Chiarelli

The game is 4-1, we've lost, no matter who the backup is.

Cam has been not very good tonite...

But whatever... It just goes to show that the people who thought Gus is fine to still be on the bench were just dead wrong.

The Bench Boss has NO faith in in Gus, & this is exactly the scenario that was mentioned yesterday & today.

Didn't think some of you would be eating crow this quickly, but the pie came out of the oven early, & it's a bitter 1 at best.

Are we under the impression we actually have another NHL caliber goalie in our system that would have guided us to victory from the bench tonight?

Now it's time for the Captain to show up & make a play...

Is it even worth mentioning #14..?

The 3rd has been highly entertaining. The score sucks though

Despite the score, I thought the oilers got some great chances. Martin was on point.

I am seriously starting to question W.T.F. Coach Crow is thinking..?

He needs 2 strikes, & he puts #14 on the sheet in lieu of #93..?

You put your BEST 6 players on the ice when you need 2 goals. Not a player who couldn't hit water with a submarine...

& WHY on earth would anyone take #97 off the ice in the last 2 mins of a game when you need to score..?

Just completely baffling bench management lately... Sad

6 game homestand. They need to get something going because the home record is not good so far.

No reason why they shouldn't win 4 out of 6

We may have something if they can bring that energy in the 1st....

It's like some think McDavid can play the full 60 minutes. Crazy.

Tough one tonight. Jones was better than Talbot - end stop.

That top line is something else. Insane on the cycle - they are going to score a lot of goals.

P.S. Maroon has to raise the puck and score on that quick break 2 on 1. Great save by Jones but get the pick up.

P.s.s. Talbot wasn't getting pulled no matter who the back-up was.

So many coaches and this problem has always persisted.

It's frustrating.

We have all kinds of staff.

Why not a first period coach!

That guy will have one job.

No-one is saying that, & it's ridiculous to even assume that anyone ever would...

But it's not ridiculous to see a young stud play the biggest 120 seconds of a hockey game with your guardian on the bench... Not to mention, that the Captain should have had a T.O. called to get even more rest.

You have NO idea as to that statement whatsoever... If the Bench Boss had someone he trusted to take over the cage, then he just may have went to him after the 3rd goal. Just as Coach Crow should have done in the Capital...
So you can assume things, but others can't..?

Are these the rules that we all should be following..?  Confused

The **** are you talking about?

No one Wanted Gus in July, let alone January.

You've written a short story on the number of poor decisions made by the coaching staff that contributed to the loss.

Do you understand the definition of eating crow?
