Game Thread: 2018-2019 season random great plays, bloopers, hits etc. Thread
#1
Just thought it would be fun to have a thread where we can talk about random events from random games played. Post any videos, articles or anything interesting that happens during the regular season this year.

Lots of games tonight, will post some videos of great plays as they come.

Marchand landed a couple of absolute beauties in this tilt, which he definitely instigated.  While Eller starts a bit late, by the time Marchand actually does some damage, they were well into the fight.

Washington doesn't seem to have a Stanley Cup hangover 2 games in, in fact they look more like the Harlem Globetrotters the way they're scoring

PS, can we make this the 2018 - 19 regular season thread?

The crazy season thread is 2 years old

Make it whatever you want.

The lowly Sens are taking it to the Hawks right now, tied 3-3 in the 3rd and are hanging in there no problem. I think my boys are going to prove alot of doubters wrong this year.

Senators drop giant heavy beach balls on fans during pre-game, spilling beer and hurting children.

And they hurt when they get dropped from the rafters #headache

This wasn't marketing's greatest idea. These giant beach balls are heavy... And are knocking people's beers over including mine

With 609 goals, Alex Ovechkin is in sole possession of 18th place on the all time list

Absolutely amazing the difference in points by Gretz and everyone else. It's close to 1000. I keep forgetting how good he was until I look at these lists and it all comes back.

funny thing is the guy lost 1 1/2 season in his prime due to lockout

he scored 52 at 19 and almost certainly would have had 45+ at 18

and he lost 34 games in 2013, where he had 32 goals in 48 games I think we can add another 20 to that easily

He's been a great player, though, would definitely love to have him on my team.

Did he also have to wait a year to debut because of the first lockout?

Being a great player also includes the players behaviour..he has skill and talent..so there is no reason for him to be such an asshat..I would not want him on my team..ever..

he did that is why I think he would have had at least 45 more to his total

Or at least a solid 30 imo

So what's the first coaches corner going to be?  The league going soft and Wilson's suspension?  Leafs stupidity for drafting the greedy little Swede Nylander over the Good Olde Canadian Boy holding out for his rights Ritchie?  Can't wait.    Wink
