Details to follow...

If by magic, you mean speaking on the giant white telephone, then maybe. Price out with flu, Lindgren called up (to back up Niemi, I guess).

Actual flu or is he 'tired' already?

It'll be interesting to see if there is jump in Plek's step tonight. He has always thrived on the Crosby match-up. Does he still have it? (because Crosby still does!)

A wee bit disconcerting.

Apologies for the error in the original post - i missed the quite obvious fact that Price is out with the flu. It has since been corrected.

I think Niemi's scrambling style is actually better-suited for the chaos created both by Dauterive's system and the lack of puck-movers at the back.

Interesting article here (pay up, cheapskates) on Price's ability to carry the load moving forward. (The Lundqvist numbers are kind of astounding)

"It’s actually fairly simple: if Price has enjoyed stretches when he has been absolutely, outrageously dominant, he hasn’t exactly been a model of consistency over the last decade."

Perhaps we're still so fondly clinging to our memories of 2014-15 (insert GP 'trade him' dissertation) that we just can't accept that inconsistency is what we're going to get. And hopefully one year we catch lightning in a bottle.

It’s another one of those 6 month viruses that effect the sinus and knee regions of the body.

I just hope that not having RDS for six weeks hasn't crushed his spirit.

Spotlight will be on the new first line tonight, probably for 19 minutes with 12 and change for the other three. Gotta get the elite guy going.

6-2 for the Pens.
