Game Thread: Post Season 2017
I wonder if Astros manager A.J. Hinch considers benching Cameron Maybin for "dogging it" on that fly ball in left field last night. Should've been a routine catch...but instead Maybin pulls up lame, lets it drop in for extra bases, & triggers another two-out, run-scoring rally by the Yankees to put the game out of reach.

Astros committed a wave of boneheaded plays last night nonetheless...maybe it serves as a 'wake up call' for the team to re-focus in time for Game 4 this afternoon. Because...you do not want to let this Yankees ballclub up off the mat the same way the Cleveland Indians did.

Yanks and Stros are now a best of 3.

I think whoever takes game 5 wins it.

Jansen should have been out there in the first place. And that isn't hindsight either.

It's a 7 game war and you just have to make sure you win the games you're winning. It's the Cubs and it's in wrigley. You can't give them anything at any time. You win a game and you deal with the next one the next day.

I hate this protecting your best pitcher stuff for the next day.
