Pettersson vs. Dahlin, Horvat vs. Eichel.

1970 vs. 1970.

Puck drops at 10 am (SNET).

This is a premier game. Young superstar (EP) against a guy who will be a superstar in no time (Dahlin) and the man we all hoped and prayed was going to be a Canuck last year.

Buffalo is no joke anymore. And, for that matter, neither are the Canucks.

Not the start the Canucks wanted, just to stating the obvious.

honestly, the NHL needs to implement a rule against eastern clubs having matinee games with western conference clubs

there is a clear cut advantage to the home team here

the canucks looked horrible from the drop of the puck

They are firing pucks this morning!

I hate daytime games!

Remember Naslund breaking his leg on a morning game in Buffalo  Angry

What you seen in those last 5 minutes is why people from all over the league are excited about the Canucks and they are quickly becoming the model for a rebuild around the NHL.

hutton looks like he is gonna put up a shutout today, but that goldobin Virtanen pettersson line looks pretty dangerous this morning

we need markstrom to be on top of his game today, so far hes been good no chance on that first one

With Eichel and Reinhart in the dressing room that helped the Canucks. Then again, I don't feel sorry for any other team with the Canucks having so many injuries themselves.

The Canucks picked it up from the midway point of the period.

if the nhl wants matinee games, then keep the games within the respective conferences

In this case I don't mind the Canucks playing a matinee game. They've had time to adjust to the time zone and it will give them about 6 more hours of rest than they otherwise would have had for the Monday game against the Rangers then they have to play the Isles on Tuesday.

They talked about this being in the league's best interest as they are marketing the Swedish connections on these teams.

That was a shitty penalty by Roussell. Took away all our momentum!

This is where Hutton gets to face his real test. The Canucks PP is no joke.

Goldobin is having the worst period of the season. Turnovers, getting crossed up with Pettersson constantly, making weak plays and getting bogged down in his own side of the ice. Just a brutal period for him, considering how well he has been playing as of late.

canucks are far and away the better and more dangerous team, but thios is one of those games were they just simply wont be able to beat the goalie, very frustrating to watch
