And will Marlins fans come out of their caves if Loria is finally gone?

Jesus, tell us how you really feel, Jeff:

The glorious exit of Jeffrey Loria, the worst owner in sports

Over the past 18 years, as Jeffrey Loria sprayed the stench of his naked greed across baseball like the skunk he is, as he destroyed the sport in one city and bilked another out of billions of dollars, as he tore asunder a championship team and micromanaged countless others and behaved like the lamest sort of wannabe George Steinbrenner possible, all blowhard, zero substance, the aggrieved could take solace in one thing and one alone: Some day, the game would rid itself of him.

Purchased for $158.5 million and selling it for $1.6 billion. That is a massive ROI.

I heard that the father of Jared Kushner( Ivanka Trump's husband )could be among those involved in the group looking to purchase the Marlins.

I don't think they have great fans to begin with. They've never drawn well.

Florida is for spring training, not 2 MLB teams

Loria would fit perfectly into Trump's administration.

Last year Forbes ranked the Marlins as the 29th most valuable franchise in MLB with a value of $675 million.  If they actually wind up selling or $1.6 billion (which seems like a long shot) can you imagine what a team like the Yankees, who Forbes pegged as being worth $3.5 billion, would be worth?

Derek Jeter & Jeb Bush teaming up to bid on the Marlins.

Jeter's always been a fan of bush!
