The "Back Slide" -- Have you done it?
#1
Have you gone back to old partners after breaking up and did the "back slide" into familiar territory?

Is it always a bad idea?

I always look at things this way.

You broke up for a reason, and unless it was something like "we were 17 and it was summer" that reason is probably still a thing. So yea, bad idea.

Oh, I should point out, depending on what you mean by "getting back with" the answer could be a yes, I mean, if it's for a night or a weekend or something, have at it. Relationship? Not likely going to end well.

Now, have I ever done it?

Is water wet? How about the sky, blue? Canadian winters are cold? Is a ducks ass water tight?

Not speaking from experience, but if the sex was great and you're both down, why the heck not?

The "back slide" isn't necessarily familiar territory.
If she didn't want it from "the back side" the first time, she probably doesn't want it that way now, either...
Why is common sense not so common?

Yes, I was 17, it did not end well.  Think The Omen, Part 2.

To answer the intended question: sure, why not go back for old times' sake?
Just don't make any promises...that you mean... Wink
